2005:Accommodations
From #doomcon Wiki
We've got a sure thing for a week-long stay at a Marriot's in town, 2 bedrooms and probably 2 beds per room. That's good for at least 4 of us. And more if we need to squeeze. But surely this lessens our need for paying for hotel stays significantly, especially if the chosen lucky 4 all chip in for the other people. --Arioch 22:38, 28 Nov 2004 (CST)
Looks like we can fit 6 people in, if I'm understanding correctly. What's available is a suite, with 2 bedrooms and sleeping space in a common room on couches. We'll need to share a single king-sized bed in the individual bedrooms, however. Heh. --Arioch 00:36, 31 Dec 2004 (CST)
Well, looks like I can snag a week-long block of a time at The Flamingo (on the strip!) from August 6th to August 13th. The limit will be 6. More on this as details solidify. --Arioch 01:22, 15 Jan 2005 (CST)
Erk. I can't. What I can get is a block of time at Summer Bay Resort, which is right by The Flamingo. Still, a nice spot, and only half a block or so off the strip. On the other hand, with this place we're not limited to Sunday-to-Sunday blocks, meaning we can pick a weekend to start off, a Friday-to-Friday block. Any requests/comments? I need some sort of consensus before I place the reservation, and soon. --Arioch 09:32, 16 Jan 2005 (CST)
Go to Discussion for a list of our options at this point, thanks. --Arioch 09:35, 16 Jan 2005 (CST)
